Super Eagles Coach earns more monthly than President Of Nigeria does in a year. 






The Super Eagles Coach earn as much as N16.7 million ($47,000) per month as salary.

Rohr's one month salary is equivalent to the official annual salary of the Nigerian president, Muhammdu Buhari .

The 65-year old German -born coach recently renewed his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation. 

Despite the super Eagles exit from the World Cup and the poor performance of African teams,Gernot Rohr (current Super Eagles Coach) will continue to receive the sum of N16.9 millions ($47,000) per month as salary. 
The amount is derived from the current exchange rate of N360 to one US dollar. 


The 65-year old German born coach first signed a two-year contract with Nigeria Football Federation in 2016 on which his salary was financed by an undisclosed oil and gas company.  







They pay excludes  win bonuses and other compensation for qualifying for national and international tournaments. 

Though most of the payments are usually supported by corporations and companies,the one month salary is equivalent to the Nigerian presidents salary.

The Nigerian president and vice president earn N14 million and N12.1 million annually with monthly take home N252,000 and N168,000 respectively, according to Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) remuneration package for political, public and judicial office holder's (Feb.2007- till date) seen by Business Insider Sub-saharan Africa. 



Rohr's contract was renewed for another two years before the expiration of the first contract in November 2017.

The Super Eagles Coach will earn the N16.9 million monthly salary for the next two years and he is expected to take the Africa football through various qualifying series and cup of Nations tournaments.
